Grounded.
present.
attuned.
It’s you, me, and Zoey the dog — curled up somewhere nearby.
I’ll remind you that your nervous system is doing exactly what it’s supposed to: scanning for danger, trying to keep you safe. The problem is, it doesn’t always know what’s real threat and what’s old threat. Something once happened that was too much, too fast, too soon — and the alarm bells never fully turned off. You’ve been operating from a state of survival ever since, even when you logically know you are safe now.
I work with folks navigating this — whether it’s the identity earthquake of matrescence, perinatal anxiety and mood shifts, or the deeper patterns that started long before any of that. We’ll look at attachment, shame, and the parts of you that learned to protect themselves by staying stuck. We’ll follow the threads back to where they started, because it’s all connected.
Expect real talk, and some casual yaps. There will be debate, questions, emotional processing, and laughter. We’ll name the systems that make this harder than it should be — capitalism, the wellness industry, the pressure to have it all figured out — because you’re not failing at some standard that was rigged from the start.
My office is cozy, a little funky, and always has snacks, tissues, and something bubbly on hand. But what we’re building together is bigger than that: a real therapeutic relationship, one that asks for bravery and gives you back a felt sense of safety — so you can unlearn old patterns, build secure attachment, and give yourself the love and connection you always deserved.
